On June 15, 2022, the U.S. Supreme Court issued its decision in Viking River Cruises Inc. v. Angie Moriana, which held that California employers can enforce arbitration agreements that require employees to bring their claims on an individual basis, and not as Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA) representative actions. The effect is that for now, California employers may implement arbitration agreements that require employees to effectively waive their right to bring PAGA representative action.  As a result, employers may now implement arbitration agreements (with representative and class action waivers) with their employees.

Join us for an attorney led 60-minute webinar that discusses how teams may leverage the use of arbitration agreements to manage the significant risks associated with PAGA and Class Action claims.
